Just Started Playing.Would A rdm/thf be a good combo?

I like to hunt for items for crafting(crystals,ore,treasure drops etc..)Would this build work well within the game?What bonuses from the thf would my redmage recieve from thf being the subjob?

Will I get steal,treasure hunter(passive) and mug?

Any help is appreciated.Thx in advance

if you are hunting stuff (treasure, gil, etc.) then yes it's perfectly fine.

if are are trying to party, then hell no! /thf will give you no significant bonuses to your RDM.

please refer to the sticky posts at the top of this forum for better subjob choices.

you are not fixed to 1 sub job. Switch em around to best fit your current role. Like neighbortaru said, /thf is perfect for farming but not for party play.
