I hope you are joking (hard to tell without hearing you speak). An LS was offered 400mil for Herald's Gaiters and the person was turned down, I'd say crimson cuises are FAR easier to get a hold of.

I said if you're not a RDM (someone mentioned BLM also). I'm fully aware that they aren't exactly a piece of cake to get, hence the face with the tongue sticking out.
PS: Imagine a MNK with Herald's Gaiters trying to solo Aquarius with Chi Blast. It would probably take forever though, and he'd catch up with how much boosting and blasting you'd be doing.SAM 74Comment

Just to clarify what i was saying, it sounded like you were saying its just as easy to get herlads as it is crimsons, thats why I made the comment.
On topic though. I tried to duo aqua the other day as 74rdm/blm. My duo partner was a 75DRG/WAR. We were out skilling up on robbers and figured we'd try aqua if it popped. We got the claim and things didnt go that well. We had to grab it before another group so i had like 1/3 mp. The drg got hit like 3 or 4 times real quick at one point, i'm not sure why, i had no problem out running aqua even without gravity on. I was nuking when possible but I didn't have the MP to nuke and heal the drg. We invited the other group to alliance and killed aqua shortly. I'd say if you are going to duo this its best to have a PLD or NIN partner.
Soloing it is one thing, you can take a few hits with blink and stoneskin, duoing is completely different. I made the mistake of thing that if I can solo something than duoing should be the same if not easier. When it comes to redmage (avatar battles come to mind), soloing is many times easier than duoing.Comment

hehe, i remember a DRG friend wanting to help me do ws quests and such cause he was bored, but he would get pummeled to near death due to him grabbing so much hate that i bought him a lvl 8 weapon, ^^ so that he couldnt rob me of hate
