Enfeebling Magic Vs God/HQ HNMs

Is it even possible? I mean, i've seen people with 300+ enfeebling magic fail frequently... i mean what the hell do you have to do when fighting gods to debuff them?

Being lvl 74 my enfeebling is maxed at 297 or 98, and i miss my enfeebles like a lvl 50 melee would miss. ~.~

If we can't enfeeble on gods all we're good for is haste cure and refresh...

Thats because your enfeebling sucks fatty, I can solo gods. go skill up on a bunny! HO! HO! HO!

It's possible, just it ends up being a test of luck more than skill trying to get enfeebles to land. The other day I landed an Absorb-AGI on Seiryu [mind you I was RDM/DRK and my Dark magic skill is horribly inadequate compared to a DRK or BLM]. It just takes attempt after attempt to try and get them to land. I have my enfeebling magic up to around 319 and get resists like no other.. \=

Enfeebling Magic at 321 and its mostly a trial of luck, a couple of my blms in my alliance know what I want and thats Elemental Seal Shock to lower MND and I think it makes a difference. A word of note is that Kirin the god of the skygods is actually easier to enfeeble.

I agree.. Kirin is easier to enfeeble than the other gods.. I'm usually about 60% on landing Gravity on Kirin.. once got it to land 8 straight times before he ended up resisting it.

Gods also vary in level... at least I think so. This is after casting Gravity on them 15 million times or so. Some Kirins gravity w/o ES actually land consistely and last for more than 5 seconds for the majority of the fight, and then the next Kirin gets resisted 100% or land, but you get the "Gravity wears off" text before the "Gravity has landed" text actually scrolls. :spin: :spin:
