vorpal blade makes bono cry

so just for kicks, i took out my lvl 15 drk sub.

highly underlvl'd, but i felt like seeing what i could do.

stroll out, grab some too weak mob with 150% TP and unload last resort and vorpal blade on him.

579 damage. are you kidding me? and a very cool WS animation to boot.

i don't even have a fully lvl'd drk sub, i don't even have fully optimal str++ gear.... i think i had 59-60 str total when i did that. i think i could easily get 5 more + meat mithkabobs. and then a fully lvl'd sub.... jebus.

what kind of cruel trick is SE playing on us when we don't get this WS?

If RDM got an A in 1h Sword, we'd be godly. I think PLD have A in that, if not, they are on the EX list (i think....)

If RDM was on EX list, we'd never have to use a /Melee sub when we want to do damage.

Imagine... Finally good damage, a bunch of kickass Weapon Skills, and our library of spells...

RDM would not only be unbeatable in Ballista, RDM would become like BST in that they never have to party! :sweat:

Of course... thats not saying I wouldnt like some good WS myself >.>

DRK sub seems like fun also, so maybe in the distant future (after I finally start leveling RDM again and get it past 70) I'll do that too. Plus, everyone loves a stun bitch. XD

After skillup PT Sunday morning, I am 199/200 for Vorpal Blade. Just need a few skillups to get it. I was thinking of going to Kuftal to fight some crabs. Think I'll try that soon, but I'm lazy. I am also 97 on club, and 147 on Dagger, so I am really close to getting 3 new WS.

This skill is awesome for skill ups because you can pull off an extra 4/5 hits...a friend of mine got 1 full skill up from Vorpal blade once D; LV75 DRK, Tulia Flamingos sword skill is I think 214

DRK sub seems like it would be usefull in a few limited situatsion for Chainspell Stun.

hehe, there are times where you aren't fighting pure IT mobs - like quests, helping people. those times, having a sub that melees well AND has drain/aspir is worthwhile. to me at least.

and for HNM's, yes, chainspell stun and fast cast stun is very useful.

the final kicker is, lvl'ing drk has been A BLAST

Personally I say Rdm should be able to start Darkness with Swift Blade. Swift Blade looks pretty cool, but it's sad how I only see Pld able to use it.
