Low level gear question

I'm currently playing an 18 rdm/whm and I was looking for recommendations for gear upgrades.

Here is my current gear:

Bronze Hairpin
Lizardskin gloves
Lizardskin chest
Lizardskin boots
Lizardskin legs
Onyx Ring
Bastok Ring
Onyx Earring x 2
Friar's Rope
Justice Badge
Aspis
Longsword

I remember reading somewhere that it's a good idea to wear eremite rings. I'm currently saving up for those, a Decurion shield and a silver hairpin. Should I continue to try getting more +mp items or switch to +int?

A fire sword would be decent for a weapon upgrade. (5k on Midgardsormr last I checked).

Also get the best wand that you can equip at your level (can't recall all the names). Can't recall if it's a +2 to both mnd and int or +3 to each at your lvl.

Longsword is superior to fire sword. Keep it until Centurion's at 30. I agree though that Yew Wand+1 (+4 INT/MND) would be great for those times you're not meleeing.

Silver Hairpin is a no-brainer, but don't buy Defense-increasing stuff like that shield until you have all the benefits to INT, MND, and MP that you can afford. If you buy only one pair of rings, get the Eremite's, but the ideal would be to have a pair of Eremite's Rings and a pair of Saintly Rings and swap them according to what you're casting.

At level 20 get a Black Neckerchief (INT+1) and swap that with your Justice Badge depending on what you're casting. You could also get Black Tunic for another INT+1, but I wouldn't recommend it since you would give up the MP from your hairpin.

Similar question, so I dun have to make a new post. Would the gear he posted be good enough to level up to my RSE? Also, astral rings necessary? I'm only taking this job to 37 for subbing~

non-taru rse is good gear for a mage. if you're not seriously going to level any mage jobs (as in take a mage job to level 75) then you don't need astral rings. you sexy blonde hume you o.O

You may want these now

- Zealott's Mitt: MP+5, INT-2, MND+3 (For Paralyze, Silence, and Slow)
- Battle Gloves: Accuracy+3, Ivasion+3 (When you melee)

Note: It is good of you to learn swapping gears for specific purposes now.

If you can afford to buy it (not expensive though), get Light Soleas (AR4, Ivasion+3)

You don't really have to buy expensive +1 or HQ gears because I don't think they will help your PT to get 500 more xp per hour. Save your money for Dispel. However, do not fail to upgrade your equipments at each LV.
