Crawlers Nest

I am about halfway through lvl 32 and as soon as a few things sell at the AH i will have Dispel (finally). I am curious if i could get a decent pt if i went to Crawlers Nest at this lvl or should i wait till 32, 33, 34? I have heard different people say different things about the lvl range there. Also if i am still too low for Crawlers Nest, where would you recommend a lvl 32-33 RDM with Dispel to hunt for awhile?

stay in altepa 'till lvl 34. Head to CN at lvl 34.

You can stay in Altepa till 40. I did WHM from 33-40 there. East Altepa till ~36/37, then West Altepa till 40. Though, at 39, Gustav Tunnel would be much better till 42/43. I UTTERLY HATE Crawler's Nest and Garliage *Garbage* Citedel. Leveled my PLD and RDM in those places, and I hated the effect on EXP by OTHER parties. But CN can be great exp, if no-one causes a bad train...

At 32 I basically stopped going to hunting grounds to get PTs. I just stayed in Jueno until I got an invite and just went where my Pt was going.

That's what I usually do as well. Once you have dispel, put it on your search comment, too. Nothing's worse than getting a RDM to come out from Jeuno to pt only to find out they have no dispel. It's the most useful thing in CN, imo. One other thing though -- if you haven't been to Altepa go ahead and make a trip down there for the crag crystal and for Rabao maps. That way you'll be more likely to get an invite to Altepa (and later Quicksand Caves) b/c you'll be able to get a tele instead of hiking it.

You can spend much of 32-52 in Altepa and Quicksands. Late 30s you can go to Gustav, or if it's full, Behemoth's Dominion. I think I went to CN once in the past 20 levels to xp. @.@

my server is absolutely in love with CN, and I hate it, but I go where the PT's are.

CN is chaos. After my one and only PT there the other night I can't understand the fixation except for AF armour.

Fighting 1 crawler. For no reason another 2 absolutley BLISTER out of no where and flatten me. No miscasting. They came straight for ME.

Seems rather buggy to me. Pardon the pun. The crawlers also had to pass at least 2 other groups to get to us.

Altepa is a fantastic place, but not a great deal of people seem to go there I saw. Seems a bring your own group affair.

Thats why its such a good place. If there are 2 or more groups doing beetles and spiders, its really no better than CN. And the other sides with anticans and a butt load of groups is worse than CN, really. If CN and the other places had plenty of pulls and low amounts of trains, it'd be just as good as the less populated places (which are now becoming more populated) like Altepa and Korroloka.

I agree . I don't plan on going back to CN to exp again. I cannot stand the obligatory exp zones like Valkrum...too many idiots who just put up LFP flag and cannot think for themselves.

Seems better to form parties and get them to you. If a player can get to Altepa then I guess it shows they are fairly switched on.

Well if you are referring to getting the FAME for Dispel so that it would lower the price, i thought about that. But i figured for the 4-5 hours (or more) it would take to get my fame up so that it would save me a few k, i could farm for 2-3 hours to get that extra money and buy it from the AH for 67k, which i did.
