    A simple thing I thought I would share with you,

    The following is what I use as templates, for my macro sets,

    MELEE <<-- any Item that you can wear that melee's your lvl are using
    ALT3
    LINE1 /equip main "Sword Name"
    LINE2 /equip ring1 "STR, DEX or ACC ring name" <<--whichever one your race is lacking
    LINE3 /equip ring2 "STR, DEX or ACC ring name" <<--whichever one your race is lacking
    LINE4 /equip waist "Life Belt"
    LINE5 /equip neck "Spike Necklas"
    LINE6 /lockon

    MND (Paralyze/Slow)
    Ctrl 2 and 3
    LINE1 /ma "Spell Name" <t>
    LINE2 /equip main "+INT/MND wand name"
    LINE3 /equip ring1 "+MND ring name"
    LINE4 /equip ring2 "+MND ring name"
    LINE5 /equip waist "Ryl.Kgt's Belt"
    LINE6 /equip neck "Enfeeblement Torque"

    INT (Gravity/Frost/Dia or Bio/Dispel/Sleep II)
    Ctrl 4/5/6 Alt0/9
    LINE1 /ma "Spell Name" <t>
    LINE2 /equip main "+INT/MND wand name"

    May seem a pain in the but at first but you get used to it,
    Note: No /wait commands needed

    At lower lvls use what Item you can that will help you cast that spell.

    Sometimes this gets in the way of Fast Cast, but your spells are more likely to last their full duration let alone be fully resisted,

    You wont be able to Skill Chain with the frequent switching of weapons but melee vs certain mobs is an option,

    Im tired of seeing Quantity>Quality casting RDMs out thier,

    The above has let me be all that I can be.

    Rdm's after a few lvls really dont get noticed by the Mob , the only thing hitting us will be the AoE, and that Add that we put to Sleep, hence Phalanx/Stoneskin/Blink, the point is, your stats only matter in relation to what your contact with the mob is.
    i.e When your casting a mnd related spell all your +int gear is not considered in the equation. hence it is not optimum,

    gah, i HATE equip macros that change midspell. it screws up the animation - which can cause some major malfunctions from the standpoint of someone else.

    for instance, lets say the whm changes equipment in the middle of casting a teleport. well, i can't see the animation and maybe there's chat spam so i miss the "BLAH is casting UUBERSPELL V". i wander off thinking we're not leaving yet and BOOM, i miss the teleport. >_<

    same for escape. same for a lot of other spells.

    i don't really like it, nor do i thiink its a good idea. i think a better one is doing...

    MND macro

    then

    SPELL macro
    SPELL macro

    then switch over to int

    INT macro

    SPELL macro

    letting the equipment change take place to me is important. the spell animation is a key visual feedback to something happening - very important for LONG spells. my $.02.

      Heh, I have INT only and MND only macros too for pre battle,

      i think the important thing here is the topic,

      'RDMS' only really have one major spell that can save the PT, and its not even our spell, (Escape), it doesnt need an /equip, so no problem there,


      look i know how you feel, i was very against it aswell, but it really does help, makes your life alot easier,

      only a few things will "blink" your toon, weapons, ammo, and clothes, rings, neck, earings, back and waist items are going to force your toon to blink

      nice thing about Wand's generally same bonuses to int and mnd hence you will nearly always have it equiped,

      Cure +mnd,
      Refresh not stat based, so no equip's
      Haste not stat based, so no equip's

      we dont really need to cast anything else, nor do we have long casts, at the end of the day its all in the log,

      anyway i recomend you give it ago,
