  • PT Invites Gone?

    Hi guys

    I was just wondering if any of the other RDM have recently been lacking in the PT invites department? Maybe it's just my reputation has gone bad (if I even have one)? Or maybe I should just start forming my own PTs again?

    Thanks for any responses

    Just not many parties at your lvl I suspect. I imagine you still get some of the fastest party invites, but invites are just slowing down for everyone at that lvl.

      2things:

      1. Eighther lack on melee, tank, mage department in your lvl range.

      2. Way too many Rdm at your lvl.

      I have made my own party when I saw more than 2 rdm seeking at my lvl range.

          I've had absolutely no problems getting invites...

          I get non-seeking invites from JP occasionally (i'm NA only unless mega-bored) and /anon invites from NA that i have PT'd with before

          Matter of fact, tonight my LS was camping Centurio X-I and Mysticmaker Profblix, and our DRK negotiated to trade ME for this 65 DRK's Greatsword....she's in a set PT i have played with...

          Anecdotes aside, I assume there aren't as many redmages 60-65 on my server (i count 4 i think).

          Keep truckin, and realize that the melees your level probably have it much worse.

            I have noticed that at certain times there are a decent number of other RDM on and/or seeking. Mostly they seem to be JP players though.

            There do seem to be a fair number of up and coming RDMs that were previously damage dealers.

            Generally I don't have problems getting invites despite it all.

              I will go anon, not be seeking, put in my search comments that I am not lfp and am playing solo, be a completly different job other than RDM and STILL get /tells for PT invites for my RDM.

                I personally don't PT at 11-1am EsT even if i try to. I don't know why but there's TONS of red mages LFG at that time. 4pm-9pm are crazy invites for me tho

                  Weekends tend to be bad for me if I'm not with my static. I don't know, but there are tons of JP rdm on the weekend.

                    Hmmm, I've never had the same experience as yours, Zempten although I'm living in the same server.

                    These days, I have almost no time playing the game because of my job. What I can only do is check how my gardens (30 flowerpots owned by three characters) are for five to ten minutes everyday... However, unless I make myself anon, I still get tells during this period...

                    If the reason you have hard time being invited is because of many RDMs competing, you may want to make yourself look better than others. You might already notice some JPN RDMs at LV65+ write something like,

                    Dark Stuff: O, Enfeebling Torque: O

                    Well, at least level your sub-job enough

                      I don't really have trouble getting a PT during JP time, but i've grown seek of japanese speaking PT, so boring...so i decided to seek later on in my day, during NA time, but...hardly anyone on, i mean 30 people from lvl 63-68, crazy. I'm lvl 65...time to cut my losses and just seeking during JP time. ; ;

                        I don't think I am a bad RDM. I think I may be maybe above average, but when I tell them my Japanese is weak they just say <Thanks for the offer but I'll have to pass>. So....I don't know anymore ; ;

                        Yes, I plan to lvl up my sub job some more very soon with my LS.

                          Murphy's law seems to take effect with me a lot. Whenever I don't want PT, unless I'm anon, I will get invites all the time.

                          As soon as I take anon off and put up seek flag, I can't get one..... that is..... until I decide to quest or craft or something, and don't want PT.

                          Seems they never want me when I want them...

                            Last night (between 9pm and 10pm CST) was probably the longest I ever waited for a party... O.o Usually, I've lucked out with getting invites pretty quick, within 5 minutes or so of having flag up... but not a nibble for over half an hour last night in Qufim, and saw one other rdm my same lvl LFG as well. Ended up spending most of my time just healing parties that were fighting nearby... skilling up my healing... :sweat:

                            Thankfully I saw a buddy on. We just duo'd snippers for the last hour I was on and I managed to cap a couple skills that way... (THANKS YOKHO!!!)
