Where did you BUY Dispell/Phalynx?

Hi im lv 30 RDM, got my BLM sub to 17 for warp. I upgraded all my armour and weapons to 30 and am getting all new spells.

I'm not going to level more until I get at LEAST dispell. My question is aside from the BCNM "Where" in your expirience is the best place to buy Dispell?

Every AH I goto never has a copy and always has

"No Applicable entries" in the sales history.

Additionally how much did you all pay?

WHAT? You and I are on the same server, Ragnarok, Have you check the Jeuno AH? Cuase that's where I bought mine, and they almost ALWAYS have phalanx, and Dispel in stock, and have sold it many many times over.

I belive you can also buy Dispel at shop in Norg, and in Rabao, goes for about 77K or so.

Phalanx is only from BCNM I believe, but I'm not sure.

You're probably going to put about 70k down for dispel unless you want to run to Rabao. It's not that far a walk, but if you don't have a map you get to guess which direction to go.

It's worth the trip. Get dispel cheaper, pick up a gate crystal, and buy a map of the region. You'll probably be exping in this region soon, so having the map and crystal will come in handy.

I bought Dispel from Jeuno AH for about 68-71k . Phalanx I was forunate enough to obtain thru a BCNM 40.

I'd say head to Rabao to get it if you have max fame. Granted, the 7k you save may or may not be important to you, but after RDM30 Eastern Altepa Desert is a good place for you to level You're going to have to know the area eventually, so why not head to Rabao and get it over with, and get a map of Vollbow there while you're at it? ^^

I'm gathering the cash right now and planning my route into the place that sells it. Question....how does one get max fame there?

The quest list is rather minimal. Is Raboa fame connected to others?

Plus what is the most direct route there? It would appear from my first glance this is not possible purely on Chocobo? Since there are dungeons to get through?

EDIT: No matter I found the route myself hehe, for some reason I thought this was part of the new expansion, i almost kicked myself when i saw it was off Bastok....rofl

So the route is:

Bastok-->Zehrun-->Korroka Tunnel-->Altepa East--West-->Raboa?

Hopkins, I would try the Jeuno auction house before Rabao for Dispel... I got mine for 68k there, and there were some sold for 67k.

As for Phalanx, it's been falling like a brick, mostly because there have been so many up for sale. It must be a more common drop now which means price will go down.

Last night I checked Phalanx price and there were 13 up for sale, and the history was full of scrolls sold just yesterday, so that's what 25 scrolls either sold or up for sale in 1 day? The lowest price was 100k, but some were 101k, 102, 105, etc. I bid everything I had (70k) but no luck... by tonight I should have enough unless it goes back up.

Some people do hold firm on their price though, because the last sale was 120k, with still 12 left. They will get impatient and drop though... they always do ^^

Most of my fame comes from Selbina from "Only the Best" or something like that. I turned in a lot of moss and that brought up my fame in Bastok and Sandy, and apparently Rabao. The first time I was there I had enough fame to get Dispel down to 63K, so apparently it's connected to other cities.

BTW, Rabao IS an expansion area. Korroloka and all the zones after are expansions.

no one runs to rabao for dispel, it's always on jeuno AH for 64k

phalanx is at 130k right now on my server
