Today I lucked out. A friend asked me to help with the Dragoon af3 quest, and I agreed,
When i zoned in to the temple, i found a bee larva in the treasure pool.

No one wanted it, so I lot and win.

We kill the dragoon mobs, and immediately port out

So now I gotta go there again to get the needle.

Now, how hard is "Death from Above"?

What's the minimal number of people ( and levels ) to safely kill it?

I killed him with uhh 6 people ~ level 60-70 hehh.
2 level 70's would have been suffice, It wasnet hard at all. Was a absolute joke in fact. Im not sure if the needle is 100% drop also~

I've killed him 3 times, and it dropped the dagger on all 3, so I think your odds are very good.

As for the party you will need, 2 level 70's will definately suffice. And in theory if I play my cards right, I can solo him, it will just take about an hour... Hit hit hit... sleep... med.... rinse and repeat.


Wait forget that, because there is a doll roaming around in the room that aggrod to magic... hmm just be careful.

Sorry for my ignorant question. But what weapon is this? And how do you make the NM pop that drop it?

Drops from NM wespe (bee) named 'Death From Above' in Temple of Uggalepih.

You trade a bee larvae to a ??? at a special location to spawn him.

There are quite a few NM that trigger off trading different item to ??? in temple, there is great evil in the temple - make sure you are prepared

And you get the Bee Larvae fom wespe inside the temple.
Then trade the larvae to the ??? inside the hidden room in F-10 on the first map of the temple to make DFA pop.

Careful though, because to open the door to the hidden room, you need to be visible, and patrolling outside and inside the doors are tonberry and wespe who aggro to sight. At the very back of the room there is a patrolling doll who aggros to magic. Also, in this room are a couple Rumble Crawlers, but they dont seem to aggro like the ones in CN do.
