RDM equipment at level 58+

With my gear never had much problems landing debuff untill recently. I am now saving for enfeeble torque which is out of stock 24/7 and cost whooping 180k in my server.

MP is always an issue to me due to the fact that I always seem to group with 4 people who need refresh and most of the time I am using whm sub as a group request (Gustav bones anyone...). So conserve mp is non existant most of the time...

My gear is in the sig but oh well...

Pirimary : 神代 same dunno the name in english
2ndary : Darksteel buckler (planning to switch to Fairy real soon)
Range : None (planing to buy mol what ever... although they costs like 30k)
Head, hand, legging, leg, body = AF
Neck : Holy phial
Ring : 2 electrum ring
Belt : royal guard belt
Back : Red cape (probably swich to +1 or wait for raimbow)

MP is really important to me. I do have close to 700mp with food. Refresh x 4, haste x 2 (usually ninja and 2hand user) back up cure empties pretty much most of my mp pool with constant re debuffs.

I have many to improve, but I never letted any group down due to my lack of performance. Although I could use more mp...

Don't buy it, just do /sea Korroloka when you're bored and go get one of your own. Morion Worm pops at the three places where there are worm concentrations (either end, and right in the middle along the side path) when you trade an Iron something or other (Ingot?) to the ??? that is at one of those areas. Every time worm dies the ??? repops 15 minutes later. Sometimes Korroloka will have like 4 people in it and they're lv20s leveling on worms, so no competition. Worm itself is easy.

Thanks Uroboros for the advice on Morion... I got mine last night after about 2 hours of waiting. Competition was fierce with about 6 people looking for it. I stayed in 1 pop point (probably a mistake). After over 2 hours and just about having given up, it popped and I got the drop on the 1st fight. It would have been more effecient if I knew the 4 pop points.

Are Morion... 100% drop or did I get lucky?

you got real lucky. And there are 6 spawn points.

2 per main concentration of worms.

I'll never go after Morion Worm again. It took me over 2 hours, and I hate camping. It would have been easier for me to join SMN shouts and do 3 of them to earn 30K to buy one. I really hate waiting for something to spawn.

2 questions...

1) Moiron Earrings are like 80k on my server IIRC, on Rag, they're only 30k? That's quite a difference. Maybe I'm thinking of something else, but are these the earrings with +1 INT, +4 mp?

2) To anyone who has the profile stored on Allakazahm, do you have to be a member there to do that?

Phhbt! I hadn't camped the worm in a while, forgot the item. Tomoh figured it out anyways. =P And I -HATE- camping NMs, but NMs that are a triggered spawn I can deal with, because at least I know I WILL get shots at the items, as opposed to camping pop NMs, in which case you just might not see them, or you might have them stolen. With /THF sub I don't think the drop is that rare, but 1/1 on it is pretty great. Also I only do this when Korroloka is empty, which does happen occasionally. Other campers = headaches.

Morion Earring is made from Morion Talthum, the latter is what we're talking about. The former is always 80k on Bismarck. Talthum goes in ranged ammo slot and is +1 INT, +3 MP, something like that.

They're talking about the material you use to make the earrings, it can be equipped in your range slot.

Right now my next big purchase is an ocean rope, it will last me to end game, I highly advise all rdm's to get there respective ropes at level 70, cost right now is only 250k on cerberus, what else are you going to spend your money on at level 70, spells? w.

As far as earrings go I still have an EE, which I replace with a death before my maat fight, and a moldavite. I consider a phantom something I'll buy when I have way too much gil, +2 int for how much! orz

Phantom talthum aren't too hard to camp, so I would never buy one.

Since I was still in Kokoroka and feeling confident after going 1/1, I tried again for about 3 hours. This time, I was able to find ??? 5 times. Bad news is that now I'm 1 for 6. All the drops were crap. I should have quit while I was at 100%.

Final Fantasy XI is a very equipment driven game.... No matter what job you are Equipment can be just as important as your player skill....

All this equipment was farmed on RDM and was very hard.. I just feel that you really should get best equipment as humanely possible and not screw your exp pt's over by being a horrible scrub.
