can RDM Weapon Style + Magic Burst in 1 skill Chain

Well since RDM are okay at weapon and Magic Damage I was wondering if it was possible to get off both in 1 skill chain?

EX:
RDM does Fast Blade
WAR does Red Lotus
RDM does Stone/or insert damage spell here

I have seen charts about what weapon skills go together but havent seen any for how to add magic bursts?

Also can Enfeebling spells be part of a Magic Burst?

Yes, Red Mages can do that. I often do that when I'm duoing with friends. (o.o)b

For example:

Burning Blade (RDM) > Combo (MNK) + Fire (RDM) would allow you to participate in a renkei as well as magic burst at the same time.

I don't know how the NA version labels the different types of renkei, but the rule for thumb is for the fire renkei you magic burst with fire and for the water one you magic burst with Water or Ice, et cetra.

And yes, you can MB with enfeebling spells like Dia and even BRD can MB with songs like Requiem and Threnody.

I'm pretty sure you can't END the chain, cast, and get a MB, but as long as you're not the last person you should be able to. At least, I've never been able to get ending one to work.

You can end the renkei and still magic burst if you MB with level I spells like Fire or Water, but not with higher level spells because their cast time is too long.

i was with my whm buddy hunting keys for kazham. id do a red blade, and then he would do a serph strike, and id mb with fire. we where owning them loser easy mobs!!!

I forgot what WSs were done before my part, I wasnt in the official renkei but I normally had enough TP and MP to contribute, chain5 193 exp so those experienced players will know it was not fairly hard stuff to be awared that much xp on the 5th chain, im sure we was just chaining tote's

I have Magic Bursted after ending a renki. It takes timing, get ready to hit that macro as soon as you can though. Level 2 spells get tricky, I don't think I can pull off a level 3 at level 75.

You can also get in multiple magic burst if you time it right.

War uses WS
You uses WS
MB with Fire I with the rdm
PLD uses WS
MB with Stone II with the rdm

I thought that if you did a MB then you ended a renkei.

Example.......

Shining Blade ~~> Red Lotus Blade ~~> Flat Blade

Skillchain woudl be Liquification and Fusino

If someone did Fire in between Red Lotous Blade and Flat Bald, I though that would stop the chain so that Fusion was not possible. Am I wrong?

Don't worry. No spell inturrupts skillchain. If you cast proper spells, you inflict up to 1.5x damage on mobs but if not, you just do normal damage.
