Newbie Ranger Questions...

Hmm... I am planning to play RNG sometimes, since the AF looks cute... anyway

1. What should I sub? Is it okay if I sub WAR?

2. How do you fight? Like, you get insane hate per arrow, no? so how do you control it and not be a party-killer?

3. Equipments to... mm... 30?

1. Warrior is one of the two most widely used subjobs, so it's definitely viable.

2. There's a lot of debate going on about this. Some argue that if you're in a good party, you can shoot like there's no tomorrow and still be fine. Others tend to say that you should just hold back once in a while. Another possibility is to sub Ninja and Blink when the monster starts going for you.

3. No idea, but mainly the best equipment that adds Agility, Ranged Accuracy, +1 bows, etc.

1) War is a good sub. So is ninja.

2) If what you're fighting dosen't have mean AE's, you stay in close with a knife, and shoot from there. I like standing way back if it has a mean AE though, since I already out-tp most people in the group anyways. Yes, arrows pull good hate assuming you keep your gear up to date and use food. You just regular your firing so you're not top on the hate list. (Well.. most of the time).

I did a quick post for atrapos there, it's not the easiest to read, but it's not a bad setup for gear either. Tongyang also has an awesome sticky written if you haven't read it already.
