Are my Dreams of a Ranger Invain?

Over countless post the obvious message being displayed is that Ranger is extremely expensive so dont bother leveling it if you dont have the gil...

As of right now I find myself broke majority of the time and im not its time for me invest in new armor.

How do you guys keep up with the high-demand that rangers put on your gil?

We farm, mine, fish, craft, buy and sell. If it makes money, you will see rangers doing it to keep up.

all my nin friends that i pt with are always spending like 4x as much money as i do.

if im in a great pt i will be using a stack of scorp arrows 20-30 mins.
thats like 3k an hour.

mining nets me 40k an hour.

ive heard of mining racking in plenty of gil but hasnt it become nerfed

No not really but more and more people are mining which means less mining spots. Mining on Asura has become almost impossible because of this. .

Thats why you can't just do one thing, if the mines are full go farm, if the farming spots are camped, find an NM or a money quest.

There is all kinds of methods to make money. There really is no such thing as "fast" gil in this game. You just have to take the time to earn it. Basically I just tend to earn a few levels and then farm or craft or both to ensure I have plenty of gil when I need it. I keep enough money on hand to buy any new equipment I might need plus traveling money and arrow & food money etc etc etc.

Its pretty hard to just keep leveling in this game without taking a break at some point to earn gil. So just get in a pattern earn 2-3 levels ...earn money and repeat

RNG isnt to expensive early on. Arrows dont start costing much until you are into you 20 something levels. Bows are expensive but you can sell them back when your done with it so its not that bad. I think I got my powerbow +1 for like 25k or something and my next bow is great bow+1 and it goes for like 30k or so No big deal if I sell my powerbow+1 that'll cover most of that cost. Once you get most of your equipment like rings and stuff you can just start recycling that money into better items when your level is high enough.

research farming. open the rng job. buy the best bow and arrow for your level as well as rings. farm some more. level some more.

Really? That sucks. I haven't started mining yet, but I was going to give it a go to support my GS crafting.
