Need help to keep up with expenses, I am an aspiring RNG

I am thinking about RNG but I need to know how do you guys keep the esxpenses and how do you make enough to have best gear. Please post all suggestions possible

First get another job to a higher level. So that you can farm/mine in places like gusgen.

I have a lvl 51 whm that I got bored of lvling so I use it to mine at Ifrits with.

I made around ~200k last night in 2-3 hrs. lately mining in Gusgen hasn't been very productive there are too many ppl there.

Otherwise, camping NMs, such as Valkurm Emperor, Mee Degi whatever for Monster Signa in Giddeus, or Archer Rings in Ordelles are some of my favorites.

Getting thief to 55+ is good for coffer hunting too. Right now my thief is only lvl 50 so I can't hunt coffers very well yet. But whenever I run around I sub thief and steal from high level beastman for mythril coins which make a decent profit ~16-20k for a stack.

Right now I'm a lvl 43 Ranger, and I know that if I want to keep up with the best ranged weapons for lvl 50, it'll be atleast 250k not including Ammo for lvling up to 50 . I don't want to sell my old equipment either because I want to keep it for BCNM and ballista but I guess that's just personal choice.

If you want to be a decent ranger it's a lot of farming for gil. I was lucky because I took a break from lvling for almost a month, and farmed a bit over 2 mil gil to use for lvling ranger and thief, so I haven't had to farm much while lvling so you can stick with ppl you know for parties making lvling a bit easier.

I just went through that.. I sold off a pair of leaping boots and farmed a new pair to wear. Selling those boots + doing a couple bcnm's that got 6 way splits of erase and one with phalanx netted me about 350k, which was more then enough to get my war bow+1, carapace +1 rings, raptor jerkin (same def as steel scale and less then half the price), and get from lvl 9 woodworking upto lvl32. I did the same thing when getting my lvl40 bow, but I took a huge loss in it because my lvl30 bow dropped 50k from when I had bought it. =\ My suggestion, start watching the price of the items you want (espically the bow) and general economy (to better understand the future of prices). While doing that, build up the money you need to that equip and wait patiently to buy it. Also going to the AH and placing low bids on the items to see if anyone is undercutting is another thing to try.. I got my bow for about 8k less then the average going price because of this.
