STR do increase markmanship damage??

STR affects Ranged Attacked

Higher the Ranged Attack the more damage.

Ranged Attack affects Marksmanship damage. (Serpentine gun itself has +10 ranged attack)

This logic is from Ferrio (one of the user on gamefaqs.com)

Now any high level RGN that use x-bow/gun want to clarify this?

Well, I've heard different shit too so there is no reason to go on his case about it. I even recall asking it again in a previous topic not too long ago and they reconfirmed that it didn't.

When you attack using a melee weapon or bow, the dmg done is checked against two things, Attack vs. Defense and STR vs. VIT. I think for guns, you'll still get the Attack vs. Defense check but not the STR vs. VIT check. So yes, STR will increase your gun dmg because STR increases attack too(2 STR = 1 attack), but just a little.
