Ok, since THF is going to get utterly jipped in the upcoming patch, I want to play RNG. I like rouge type classes, and I was wonder what I should do.
I'm a lvl 16 THF and I'm taking that to 18 to get my subjob. I was wondering if I should just take this to 30, or take my level 8 WAR to 30 then get RNG and have a sub ready until 60. (I prefer the second) I also have some good funds set up and I know I can be lazy with THF and just use doublet until 30, but people might not like that with a WAR. Could I wear scale to 30? And pehaps use my butterfly axe to 30? I know RNG costs money and I don't want to spend my like 6k on WAR that I could save on RNG.
Also, is it really that important to level my ranged weapon skills, I have a 2 in bow and 0 in guns, I feel it would be better to level it with RNG, and money better spent.
I would also level NIN as a sub, because I want that +accuracy
So I was wondering if this was a good idea?
And also, where do you make money as a RNG? I use crawlers in saru and selling silk thread for 500 gil and trading calculus for 600 to the npc by the dhamel farm.
