Ranger with DRK as sub

My question is:

Will these DRK abilities help with a ranger main?

Arcane Circle - 5 - Protects party from Magical Enemies.
Last Resort - 15 - Increase Attack but Defense is lowered.
Weapon Bash - 20 - Can hit enemy hard with weapon.
Darkness - 30 - HP is consumed and attack increased.

Ability such as Last resort and Darkness, will they increase range attack or just non-range attack?

They probably do, but I never thought they affected range weapons to.

Last Resort does, but Darkness does not.
