Since you have to be lvl 30 to get to an advanced job does that mean i cant use that job as my sub until my main job is lvl 60. An example would be is i were to start out as War and got it to lvl 30 and changed to Pld as main would i not be able to use War as my sub until my Pld was lvl 60.

Uhh yes you can use it as your sub. Just because it's level 30 doesn't change anything. It will stay at 30 but it will change itself to acomodate itself to your main. Example: lvl 1 PLD/WAR lvl 1, the benefit to this is you won't have to level it again until you reach level 62. Think of it this way. It will stay at 30 but it but it's will temporarily change to half the level of your main.

lvl 30 is required for the advanced jobs. That means you have to be lvl 30 to obtain the job. Once you've obtained the job it's just like any other job. For example you start with warrior, level it to 30, complete the paladin quest, change jobs and reach lvl 2 with paladin and warrior as sub you'll be a pld/war 2/1.I think I'm beginning to understand. An answer from the planet...The Promised Land...
