so what are the pros vs cons of a paladin

PROS
Highest Defense in game
Limited White Magic
Often wanted in parties
Best 1H Swordsman

CONS
Lower Attack than the Warrior and Dark Knight
It's undesputably best sub-class when partying is Warrior, solely for the Taunt ability
It's meatshield roll in parties is more important to stay to. On the other hand, playing a Warrior or Red Mage you don't have any "responsabilities"
Good thing they're 1H Swordsmen, they really should have a Shield to improve their defense as a damage magnet and to use their ability "Shield Bash"


A Paladin is a really great class, but it must be played very specifically. And often someone who's a good Paladin can make a good leader.
