  • Best Paladin sub- Warrior

I personaly think this to be the best you can get for resons
    1) Warriors have taunt (very helpfull)
    2) Higher attack
    3) Occational 2x hit passave ability

    Opinions?:

Uhh... yeah, I agree... but you probably didn't need to start a whole thread about it since it's been discussed numerous times in the other paladin threads...

IMO it is the ONLY sub a paladin should have. Any other class including monks defeits the whole purpose of having a paladin in the party cause it won't have taunt. Sad but true, paladins should not have variety.

Well Paladins still get Cover, and I'd imagine in a later level they'll be given a Taunt-like ability. However getting the Warrior's Taunt is still the reason that Warrior is the strategically undesputed best Sub Class for Paladin.

 i gave a question. I really want to work my way up to becoming a paladin but people have told me paladins are more useful with a sub. warrior for taunt. but I also wanted to use the whitemage cure spells. Is it better having taunt than the cure spells?

100% absolutely. Taunt can be used over and over again, white mage spells, you can run out of mp. Paladins already have some white mage spells, and some mp. Enough to help in a pinch, but not enough to substitute for taunt.

there is no way to be a decent paladin without taunt. sure you can go into long rambelings of how your plan will work and why its better than having a taunt and what not, but once you put your "plan" into use.. youll quickly realize how wrong you are.

you cant be a paladin without the sub job of a warrior. plain and simple.

Paladins should get a Taunt-like ability at a later level. Or maybe "agro generator" passive ability, so their agro slowly(and more rapidly at leter levels) goes up in addition to whatever they're doing, so a spell or two can be cast without having to use some ability.
