I don't know about monk. Technically you could with a Paladin. The only problem is that the Paladin's main purpose is to absorb as,much damage as possible and if you dual wield you can't carry a shield. Also you would not be able to use the SHield Bash ability.

Correct me if I am wrong but no.
If you wanted duel wield you would have to have a ninja sub.
Besides I don't think anyone would want that in their party because I bet they would want pal/war rather than pal/nin because paladin's job is for damage taking so you would want a shield, and taunt, plus more vit than a ninja sub.

You'd have to be a level 20 PLD subbing a level 10 NIN, since that's when they get the passive ability that lets them hold two weapons.WAR20 MNK12 WHM28 BLM31 RDM60 THF21 PLD14 DRK20 BST6 BRD42 RNG16 SAM11 NIN40 DRG10 SMN10

Shield bash is useless at higher levels, and your vit will NOT lower if you dont have a shield. So do what ever you really want. I think a paladin with 2 swords would be really cool. Why would you want to dual weild 2 sheilds? you wouldn't even be able to attack.
