But swapping hate really isn't an issue at all. The real issue is that as it stands right now, PLDs simply take way too much dmg. TOO MUCH DMG. I dont care how many PLDs you have because the damage is still going to some tank. That means that you need whm's with Rdms & Brds dumping MP at crazy rates. You take 1 WAR/NIN and all these requirements get bundled up into an inventory item called Shehei. The fact that you can take an inventory item and simply replace extra healers and refreshers (RDMS and/or BRDS) simply proves the inequality of PLD/WAR vs WAR/NIN or NIN/WAR tank.

Abriael, I think when you have experienced a battle vs Genbu with a PLD tank and then seen the amazing ease with a WAR/NIN or NIN/WAR tank, you will understand why many high level PLDs feel frustrated. Perhaps Genbu is an extreme example that puts the WAR/NIN and NIN/WAR in good light but this transcends everyting, even simple leveling.
For example, I went to farm Ro'mave Water (Magic Pots in Sky) with a few LS members.

PLD/WAR, BRD/WHM, RDM/BLM, WAR/NIN, MNK/NIN, THF/NIN and we take it with ease provided the WAR & MNK held hate. As soon as I would draw hate and took alot of the tanking, sure enough our MP totals were drained. So OK I'll give into me not being able to tank ALL HNMs, but the fact that even at low level, I am so less efficient compared to Blinkers frustrates me (and probably others) to no end! :sweat:

Heh... theres ways to use PLD tanks without taking dmg or kiting. Makes life tons easier, rng + blm no longer need to hold back, stuff dies quickly.

But still you have to swap hate around. Theres no way around it, you do HNM with PLD tank you SWAP HATE, there is no covering each other. Just the act of moving to the other PLD to cover can mess a whole lot up.
