Question about AF(hand)

as we all know all jobs need an item called"Anicent Arm Guard" for the AF(hand).

Here is my question, I am currently in a static PT, so we all are doing the AF(hand), technically we all have to go to 6 diff places and get the coffer key and look for the treasure then get the "Anicent Arm Guard"

So I am wondering, is it possible to have a thf and just go to one place to pick the treasuse chest and get the "Anicent Arm Guard" then the whole PT can lot on it, will this work?

No, in order to get your ancient gloves (??) you as a Paladin must unlock the coffer yourself.
