I'd need that to pick up the Republican Army Mantle, from Bastok (I'm from Sandoria)...

Considering I'm 43 now, mantle is at 55... if wearing the signet at all times of my leveling over the next 12 levels going to be enough? I'm trying to figure it out... but I know the XP values change drastically, and TNL can be around 10-15 in the coming levels... just wondering if it is even feasable.


I know it'd be dumb to waste all those CP on an item that's RARE/EX, and I'd never be able to sell it or make the money back... But gil really isn't an issue for me, the only other mantle that really appeals to me more than this is the Behemoth Mantle / +1 and it is almost never available at the AH.

Regardles.... 40k CP, possible? Again, I'm level 43 now.

Erm... the mantle is 24k CP.

And anyway, I suggest waiting to get that Lv58 Beak Mantle+1 (I think that's the name) that gives you VIT+2.

Beak Mantle +1 is a steal at 11K (for me, I bought one in advance). Not sure if I'm gonna pick up the CP mantle.

By the time you can achieve Rank 6 (you'll probably want to wait until lv 58-60 as a tank) I think you'll have enough Rank Points. ^^ Don't forget that you'll need 10k+ xp per level from lv 51 and 20k from lv 55, which mean plenty of time to gather rank Points.

Anyway, I really want the Bastokan Army Mantle when I'm rank 6 (wearing a Beak+1 right now) but considering Bastok is 3rd at conquest 80% of the time on Gilgamesh it might take a while. :mad:

It doesn't cost 2x the CP exactly. If you want to buy a Rank X item from another nation (assuming the conditions are right... like your nation being in 1st), you pay the equivalent in CP as if it were a Rank X+1 item for your nation. In the case of the Mantle, Rank 6 items cost 24k. Rank 7 items cost 32k. So, buying the Bastok Mantle (rank 6) will cost you as if it were a Rank 7 item for your hometown.

I got the beak mantle+1. I didn't like the idea of spending non-refundable CP on a back item. The VIT+2 is always welcome though.
