Camping Garlaige Coffer Chest *sigh*

I finally got my eldheime coffer last night. The night i finally get hlep with it there is a good 30 ppl in eldheime. I sweare we seen about 20 thfs in full af running aimlessly all over the place. We run into a room with an azer in it, I forgot they aggro sight so i get aggroed. MY rdm friend casts refresh on me then he gets DC, So here i am soloing a DC con bomb X.X, It decides to self destruct and hits me for 475 which isnt bad at all.


Then we keep moving with no luck. Got a friend to help us with switches cuz we didnt know how they worked at the time. We look around downstairs with no luck, jus a pt fightin LICH C mangus and 25 thfs. I was getting keys down there another day and seen a coffer pop behind our camp it was there for a good 90 minutes before anyone got it. It never popped there so we fell off cliff and tried every other eldheime mound which were all dead ends.

Then we go back in first one, run about for awile and find a chest, not coffer, luckily i had a key, there was an azer in the room so i opened the chest then my friend got aggroed, Azer decides to explode on me for 1015 damage and hurt the rdm none X.X 1015 oddly being my max HP. Then he raises me and we contine looking. We run by titans gate and it opens for us cuz another pt is there so we go in and drop down. run around for a bit . check the pop room i know of nothing there, then turn around and go back to the room and its there, *makes a mad dash for coffer and gets item* heart pounding.

Then i lose sneak and get aggroed by a dark stalker which we couldnt take. so he kept having to sleep it, Eventually had to convert to keep sleeping, he ran out with a huge train of undead and we both made it. *whew* never want to do that again. I feel cool cuz i beat all the thfs to the coffer though.

*can neone tell me what drops garlaige coffer* so i can lead a pt looking for them. thanks.

Those weapons in the basement area drop the coffer keys. Mean little buggers too, even at level 56.

Well you all seem to have had a hard time just like me..dying and stuff lol. Yea man when i'm done with all this AF stuff which is more of a chore than fun then i'm taking a break like playing another job just to let off some stress or something. I was jus wondering who I talk to to begin the PLD coronet Quest. Also do i just have to open the coffer or do I have to open the coffer and fight a NM. thanks

As long as you have done the AF gauntlets quest from Guslam in upper jeuno you can just open the coffer in garlaige without any additional quest activated. You just open and recieve your coronet. Sounds simple but hardly. But you require no quest nor do you need to fight a NM.

Speaking of getting the coffer chest, at what level did you fight the monsters that dropped the key? My team fought the Vault and Over weapons and we were just getting creamed during the entire fight, had to warp out in the middle of battle.

Later on when we tried to fight the fallens, those also equally kicked our buts, even though they weren't as immortal as Weapons are, they were still too much hassle to be worth it.

BTW we're all level 52, pld is 53.

While I'm also about levels, why are kuftal robber crabs so damn hard? should we just stick to the Helm Beetles? Or another place to level at 52/53? Garlaige is just too hard for us.

Crabs are easy if you have a Dispeling RDM and a BLM. If you dont have either one dont bother going to kuftal. I went there at 53 and it was kinda pushing it. I'm 54 now and still excelent XP, and I think I will stay there until 55, then I will move to Boyahda.

I went to Kuftal at 52, Was a little tough but we did fine. As long as everyone in the PT knows there role your fine. You cant have a half ass party there at that lvl. At 56-58 i believe you can do crabs in Boyhada, jus and ADV. Version of the kuftal ones. I did them the other night and it was pretty good. Jus dont even think about doing them unless someone can dispel. Its pointless.

Also Im so glad i dont have to go thru another hell like AF gloves for coronet. I can't wait to get out of my IM armet its so old. Are the Cuisses hard to get, I dont hear anyone complain about them really, whats that quest consist of?
