About those Avengers earrings

Just wanted to let you guys know about these earrings in case you were thinking of trying them yourself or were curious about them (earrings gives +1 counterattack).

Well I got one last night and figured I would try it out just to see if it worked or not. So I put it on and go to a PT. 3 Hours go by and I havn't countered a single time. So I figured they just don't work for Plds. Then another hour goes by and I counter for my very first time. Then after the group breaks up, I went out farming and 2 hours during the farming I countered only once.

I talked to a friend of mine who grouped with a Pld wearing two of these and after making 35k exp, the Pld only countered 6 times.

So I just thought I would let you all know that these earrings suck ass, and they're not worth getting. Was worth a shot, oh well.

you most likely have ot have the skill in order to get any bonus from them

You get the skill... but counter is a skill like parry or shield... the only problem is because you have 0 to begin with, having 2 against lvl whatever mobs means very very little.

I wouldn't say it's exactly like Parry or sheild. You can raise parry and sheild as you block more and your skill goes up. Counter is just a job trait. Personally I think they're just that good unless you have the job trait bonus from the job it's self (main/sub). Since I've countered a ton with my monk with no bonuses compared to this earring.

It was just a test though so I don't mind finding out this way. I was always curious if they were good or not, cause I'm always looking for something to use other then Drone Earrings.
