AF3 fight

I am looking for some input from PLDs who had completed their AF3 - BP. I've look through killingifrit, and allakhazam. Both has very limited information on the difficulty of the fight. Is it possible for a PT of 62 to beat it or alliance is still needed at that level? I really hope this is not another you'd better have some lvl 75 JP friends crap?

Depends, how many times do you have to do this? If everyone uses their 2hours, you could probably complete this with an 8 person alliance. There are 2 orcs... have 1 PLD tank the PLD orc, use 2hr if needed. Another PLD 2hr on the ranger orc, MNK, DRK (with souleater), BLM, etc all unleash 2hrs on it to kill it quick. Then everyone focus on the PLD orc.

We did this fight 3 times, never using 2hr. We had a 14 person alliance all lvl 57-60. Even so, 3 people died =\ This isn't an incredibly difficult fight, but it's compounded by the fact that there are several other orcs around the well that you have to kill first, and you want to pull the PLD orc as far as possible so other ppl dont get hit by its AE while not aggroing any wandering orcs. And no you don't need some lvl 65+ helping you I think a 12 person alliance should be able to do this without 2 hrs, as long as 1 WHM is dedicated to the PLD/NIN/WAR tanking the melee ORC while everyone else kills the RNG orc.

yeah i had 18 in my af3 alliance and it was overkill but warrented overkill, the time i organized the fight no one died, the JP player who couldnt understand wait pulled it a bit early and one of the Blms died, but just how i my boy Rugal said , Have one PLD and one whm devoted to the pld orc (this is of course after you have cleared the surrounding area) . Besides that have everyone kick the living hell out of the rng orc, again like rugal said make sure the duo pulls the PLD orc away he will cast CURE IV or V (cant remember which spell) on the rng , also his aoe which is just wrong. Anyway good luck and have fun. IF you do get 18 ppl the fight is friggen weak sauce
