From reading the AF list in Killing Ifrit, it just says that I need to get items from coffers for AF 5 and 6. (Coronet and Cuisses.) Am I supposed to a quest first from either of these or something? Who do I talk to?

You'll need to active your AF4 first. Once that's active (You don't need to complete it), then you can open the coffers for AF5 and 6.Peejo-Rank 10/ZM completed

Thanks. Will I get the actual equipment once I open the coffer, or will I have to bring the key item to the ??? in Port Jeuno from AF4?

For AF5 & 6, you'll get the actual item. Only AF4 that you'd have to open the coffer, get the old gauntlet, kill the dark sparks, report back to Jeuno to get the gloves.Peejo-Rank 10/ZM completed
