Hello all. Earlier tonight, we were doing it, and was doing fine, til flood hits. I tried bashing it, with the drk weapon bashing and casting stun. It seemed to have no effect. Is flood uninterruptable? Is that bcnm fight even doable without a ninja with blink?

Have your mages cast silence on it. Even if you cast it as flood is casting you'll still stop it. Also save your TP for flat blade. Giddeus bc40 is one of the only times I've ever really used flat blade.

Also, flood is like a 15-20 second cast. If you see it being casted you MUST wait a good 5 seconds before you interrupt. The interrupt times on spells are from 15%-85% of the spell cast (round about numbers).

Think of it like this, when you start casting a cure spell inbetween attack rounds, you can be hit right after you start casting and it will never interrupt the spell, same with at the end of your cast.

Also, at least with my groups, I rarely have enough Tp during the Boss monster because he dies so quick, I usually just use a 2hand sword and if he casts flood I than switch to 1h/shield and bash than switch back to 2h.

I've been hit around 50% at some times. Probably just luck on my part.
