Sub Level

Okay, so everyone agrees pretty much that you should start as a warrior to get the taunting before becoming a pally.

My question is: How far should you go as a warrior first? What level should you go to for maximum effectiveness before becoming a paladin?

Also, how fast is the leveling in this game? Does it compare to EQ? (ie. takes forever?) Or compare to DAOC? (pretty quickly?)

I would say take warrior to Level 30, then unlock the Paladin Advanced job. This way you can sub warrior, and not have to worry about your sub until level 60, and by that time you should have all of your Artifact Armor.
