Pally, does it work?

Since Pallys have great STR and their atack is low, and DRK has great atack and deals big damage. The point is: if you join Pal to Drk as sub-job it will improve his Str, but I don't if the atack will be better or worse... Can someone answer me?

But a DRK/WAR or DRK/THF would do more damage and a PLD/WAR would be a better defender. Making the PLD/DRK or DRK/PLD less desirable then either of those. In fact without /WAR no one would want your PLD and why take a damaged DRK?

What about War/Pal?

That would result in a more defensively minded warrior. Not as defensive as a paladin though. It's a general rule of thumb that advanced jobs rarely make good sub jobs, but if you wish to try it, it should work.

Unfortuantly...

WAR/PLD is ok, but you would be doing less damage than a WAR/??? so you'd be taken as a back up or main tank, in either case that role of PLD is expected of you so you should do PLD/WAR. Unless of coarse you want to be a fighter, in which case go WAR/SAM or some other non WAR job entirely.
