n00b pally question

I thought I read somewhere that you could only use the equipment of your main job not your /sub job? Or does this rule not apply since paladin is an 'advanced job'?

How is it paladin can have special armor / equipment if you can't start with the job?

Is it like you take a job till 30 then take Paladin and make it your 'main job' and then you can take Pally to 60 / 30 of what you were?

I'm still all confoozled about this only use equip of your main job thing.

Ah, so it is like I thought?

If like you had something like White / Thief, and were wearing robes that were white only, and swapped to Thief / White to 'level thief up' and had 'thief only' equip, your White equip would un-equip and you could then equip your Thief stuff?

Seems kind of confusing to me, but I guess it makes sense.

What about spells / abilities? They would just be limited to the levels you had access to at the time?

Interesting. So, given enough time, the most powerful people would be those who maxed a lot of classes, and then could 'swap at will' between 60 whatever and 30 whatever? Hum.

Ooooh I see your a kitty white / black. How are you liking that? I was going to do El white / black, but someone said they had super low mana and a stat calc verified that, so I was thinking of doing a kitty white / black.

'Course I have to wait 2 months before I can do anything cause they aren't adding more testers. *sigh* :confused:
