  • Ultimatly a Taru Taru Paladin

Well basically, I want to finish with a Paladin. But I have a couple questions.

Well, I hear people changing jobs and such, but how exactly does the system work? For instance, when someone changes a job, is the entie character level screwed? The max is 70, and say I don't like being a warrior at level 10, if I change to Monk, will my level be reset? Or will my new max become 60? Also, what is the diffrence between Sub jobs and changing jobs? Do you keep the skills of your sub job as your main job? i.e. A Paladin using Monk skills if Monk is his sub job.

Also, Can you have two advanced jobs? i.e. Paladin/Dark Knight? And was wondering what the best way of acomplishing this feat would be. Basically, I want a Paladin/Warrior but I'm striveing for Paladin/Dark Knight if it's possible. I was also wondering if you have to buy all of your spells? Like, when you level yout only gaining the ability to learn the spell correct? And, is saving like classic FF and done by the big blue crystals? Please answer these ^_^ Thank you.

you can be level 70 of anything...
level 70 of every single class if you have the time/will

and pld/drk... that's like... no taunt

and a pld with out taunt .. is like ... (insert random bad things)

So, lets see. If I level warrior to 70, then change job, then change back to warrior, will it still be level 70? And what about my other questions?

you change.... in your mog house.... and change back anytime...

Also, what is the diffrence between Sub jobs and changing jobs? Do you keep the skills of your sub job as your main job? i.e. A Paladin using Monk skills if Monk is his sub job.
except the 2 hours... all other active job skills are given for subbing

Also, Can you have two advanced jobs? i.e. Paladin/Dark Knight?
as i said earlier you can have them all if you want

And was wondering what the best way of acomplishing this feat would be.
the best way is being no life at all, and risking dieing in front of you rkeyboard

            Basically, I want a Paladin/Warrior but I'm striveing for Paladin/Dark Knight if it's possible.
again, pld/drk = (random bad things) however drk/pld = hmmm

I was also wondering if you have to buy all of your spells? Like, when you level yout only gaining the ability to learn the spell, correct?
yes you gonna buy every single spell you want

                  Taru PLD:

You'll get an invite. You'll be requested to sub whm and play like a mage. When you fight, they'll ask you to stand back with the mages to avoid area-based damage. When you overcure, get hate, and the monster starts attacking you, the other PLD in the party will use cover on you.

                  :p

But that's not saying taru/pld's can't be good tanks, cuz I think they rock. That's just how it is usually :p
                  DRK75 / THF37 / WAR37 / RDM60 / BLM31 / PLD11
