PAL=let there be damage!!!

is there ANY WAY!!! that a PAL can do some good damage at high lvls even if i have to only use one weapon all my WAR to PAL life, is there a way?? ive heard storys of Pallys doing good damage but it takes time for a one weapon use, is it true?

only way is to level your one hand sword skills. Paladins get 2 very powerful weapon skills, spirits within, which is powerful but i dont know around how much damge it can do, and buffer blade witch can do about 300- 400 points of damge. Or you can use a 2 hand witch paladin are not that great with.

If you want to show off then dont worry. Enemies attacking you for the lowest of damages is enough to prove your a punching bag.

Spirits within WS works great on the undead(Bones..etc), you must have it tp charged at 300% then you unleash it but besides that Vorpal does alot more if all 4 hits touch. Swift blade is another bettter WS but its based upon Holy skill.

PLD's defense is never beaten in the game, with vorpal you can goto delfkut hunting for gil and kill giants countlessly for 130-160 gil each. My giant kills...5470.

In a party, the PAL should be tanking and letting the others do mad damage. That often means that he doesn't deal much damage to the enemies. Some of the WS can deal lots of damage at late levels, but it takes lots of time to get there.

To sum it up, stick with a 1HS and a shield and be a good tank.
