Cure3/Curega to taunt?

Hmm ... I remember reading something about using PLD/WHM's Cure3 to kinda pseudo-taunt ... obviously it can't measure up to WAR's taunt but it's at least something in support of PLD/WHM ...

The other thing to remember is that you can change your job and SJ almost at will, so if you're looking for a serious mission/leveling/NM party, go for PLD/WAR, etc., but if you're PTing with a buncha good friends just for fun who don't really care, be a frickin BLM/MNK or SMN/WAR or BST/BRD for all anyone cares. :sweat:

Heh thanks for the info, but I already decided I'm gonna ditch Paladin and just go Warrior and switch it to sub but then develop either Samurai or Dragoon or both and during that whole time i'll just save up money and then eventually start developing White Mage and see what they goes well with. I've pretty much dropeed Paladin because it seems like it's just a tank and has absolutely no healing power whatsoever. Sitting and taking damage seems kind of boring to me, i'd prefer taking a little more damage but dealing a lot more. Plus, a Paladin has become one of the specific jobs looked for when making a party. I don't really like that because it's less unique. YES, there are a helluva lotta players who are also Samurai or Dragoon but there should be less, I think.

I agree with every body else paladins can cure but then you you be concentrating on spells than defensive and if you want to be in a party people expect you to have taunt. That is what paladins are used for shields for the party a wall so other party members will respect you for killing yourself for them. You dont have to have a cure or revive spell to get the parties attention oyu get it be helping otu others
