ive been thinking about gardening also. but isnt the turnaround time like so long? esp. for elemental ores? or do u garden other things?

how many mules do you have going?

gardeners around the globe would kill me, its hard to get exact guides on how to garden no sites tell you, and people dont spill info on gardening.

turnaround on elemental ores is like 3 weeks. RL.


i have 5 mules going ATM, had 4 but cleared all pots and what not off my main character....so now technically only 5 characters full of pots and plants and potential ores..


Its crazy, especially now while waiting for help on Afs and G3(just need to go do it but being lazy) i dont use any ammo so when i harvest all that gil is just getting stacked and stacked and stacked.

maybe i'll have a kriegs axe for my ranger if i keep these 5 going for another 6-7 months...lol

oh no im not asking you what ur reciepes are i was just curious about the turnaround time and ur start up.

do you farm/buy cuttings then grow them to sapplings then ores? or just straight up buy sapplings then plant them?

i wouldnt expect you to spill the beans on ur gardening info tho, if u feel generous ill check my pm from time to time

the reason for me asking is cuz if u started out from scratch. planting cuttings to harvest sapplings then to harvest ores thats like over a month of waiting!

actually i have one question... do you use any normal pots? or only porcelin? the latter is 10k each on my server and not on sale too often

Thats why it cost me over 400k to start up...

bought porc. pots, and about 8 stacks of cuttings to start off.

took me about a month and a half before i made anything...

but now i have it fined tuned to where i harvest a different mule every week and have one off week where no harvest is ready per month.

yeah alot of times i sell the sapplings because i need gil fast..

I buy cuttings now though, takes too long to go farm them.

I never have to farm anymore, i just know never let myself get below 400k
