Getting To Norg

i am in the process of getting the nin advanced job and getting norg fame, my question is this

If i do the nin quest to the point i have to go to norg, then get my norg fame will i be able to get the scrolls before going back to bastok?

Can anyone tell me what i will need to get to norg? and directions i know i gota go past the jungel then though seaserpent zone, but is it pretty easy to navigate in there with out a map? where can i get a map of those zones. thx for the help

If you want to do the ninja scroll quests on your first trip to Norg, you will have to raise your fame beforehand by doing stuff like the Zinc Ore or Yagudo Beads quests (lots of information in this forum, look around).

Getting to Sea Serpent Grotto is tricky, even with a map, but you should be on choco so that shouldn't be a problem.

Once in the Grotto, just hug the right wall til you get to a "secret" door in a wall, go through the door, and continue hugging right wall til you reach Norg. Simple. You will need sneak, or silent oils if you are not a mage (two should be enough, three to be really really safe).

Do you need to be ninja to get the ninja scroll quests?

Nope, you can actually make a lot of money off doing this. It takes the initial maybe 30-40k to raise fame in Norg, but you will get probalby 140-150k back if you sell the scrolls on the AH. If you're ever thinking of being a ninja though, its probably best to keep the scrolls, because they are obviously expensive.

You can get a map for the jungle by buying one in Jeuno for the Elshimo Region
