Leveling Throwign Skills/ Gun

Reading thru various posting, it seems NIN/WAR dont have much time to level their throwing skills much cuz they spent much of the time controllign hate or bizzy blinking etc..

how do u guys level those? do it at start?

Or should i just do skillup on thorwing/gun with low level mob in qfum etcc..

best to level off worms from quifim -> western altep -> kuftal tunnel.


These areas worked fine for me. I stopped using throwing around level 55 and swapped a Lightning bow in for the +2 dex seeing how useless throwing was around those levels.

I just upgraded to that Ungur boomarang. Nice to have a decent throwing weapon again.

Actually, throwing a chakram after the second blade hits will help enough since we have a low delay as is. Leveling throwing isnt a problem when you keep at it,however trying to level marksmanship is a problem because we would have to change gear to a R.acc set which would take over some evade or acc gear and throw away money on a gun and bullets which probably will miss most of the time but still hit harder than any nin/whatever which is the up side.

The best way that I've found to raise your marksmanship skill is to use another job. At level 5, warriors can use a Light Crossbow. Not only can you nearly one-shot many mobs with this, but you can raise your marksmanship and /war level at the same time. If war is too high for this, try rng.

For throwing: buy a bunch of darts and let 'em go. These are cheap and easy to obtain. Boomerangs work the same.

Utilizing these items will increase your skills without tossing extra gil out of the window by using shurikens or bullets.
