Upcoming gears

So i'm at level 30 right now and having the best equipment will be my main priority. So i was thinking of these parts will do:

head: emperor hairpin
body: jujitsu gi
hand: ochiudo's kote (390k)
leg: something idk lol
feet: fuma kyahan
ear1+2: dodge earrings
ring1+2: reflex earrings

Now i have only the ears and rings part, and i havent bought the rest because they accumulate up to roughly 800k. The reason i'm getting these equipment now is to use it up until i get AF, possibly even till 70(hairpin and kote). Do you guys think i'm over doing it? I currently have only 25k in the bank and willing to spend a whole month to farm for gils. This might sound crazy but i want to be the best at my job. Any advice is appreciated.

i pretty much have the same set up planned, but i'm wondering if DEX+ items are needed for NIN as well as AGI+ items.

the kote and hairpin are definitely worth it. they will last you until you get your af (and even then if you want them to).

also got the fuma kyahan and don't plan on replacing those until af (yummy).

i think i used a survival belt for awhile...was saving up for life belt. gi's and pants are mainly for looks. +4 acc is nice, but meh.

rings/earrings seem good. *shrug* i'm no expert by any means.

it's good to have the best possible equipment, but you also have to be able to blink tank really well. it will be expected of you. so save up lots of money for powders too. hehehe

My equipment set up right now

I'm currently lvl 24 and my equipment is as follows:

head(Emperor's Hairpin)
neck ( Tiger Kote)
hands(beetle+1)
body ( beetle+1)
legs ( beetle +1)
feet ( beetle +1)
ears (2 mithril earings)
rings (2 reflex rings)


I have more than enough evasion, but my Defense is somewhat low. I wondering how many levels will I'll be good with the beetle +1 armor (each piece adds+1 evasion) ?

I planned on buying a set of dodge earings at lvl 29, but when I look at all the future armors, I can not find any with + Evasion stats, just better Def. I'm only looking ahead about 10 levels ahead and I plan on leveling in Kazham at lvl 25. Will I get OWNED by IT mobs there in between my :ichi spams with such a lower Def? or will all my evasion and agility be enough for 10 more levels or so?

Get windustrian gear at 25, good evasion boost.

As for how you'll do in Kazham, you'll be fine. I mainly wore windustrian gear, and didn't die once all 8 levels there (though I only tanked 3-4 levels).

Ninja Equip

Ninja needs EVASION, not agility. Try to enhance evasion more so then agility >_> and also, EVASION-> Dex
