Ninja.... equips and more

Hello, I'm a THF50/NIN25, with Utsusemi: Ichi and a few others Ninjutsu. I play as NIN/WAR when lvling my NIN.

I want to upgrade my NIN equipment, but I'm really lost with NIN, I don't know what to boost (STR, Dodge, Dex..??), also the equipments that there's at lvl 25 don't have many boost, do they?

Right now, I dont find interesting playing a NIN.. I mean.. what do I do, waste 50k per PT with Ninja Tools? All the attacks NIN has are low damage, I feel really useless compared to my THF when I was back to 25.

Also, I have problems lvling my Throwing/Ninjutsu skills, any suggestions?

This is what I was thinking to use at lvl 25:

2x Busuto (lvl 26 katana)
Chainmail set: body, legs, feet
Scentless armlet
Emperor Hairpin
Spike Necklace
2x Amethyst Ring

Is that conf okay? I'm not sure about getting the Chainmail set, I like how does it look, but they don't add stats (I was using Power Gi, but I don't really want to wear a low lvl armor).
I don't know what earrings/belt/ranged weapon to buy, I was waiting to be 30 to use my Chakram...

The key to playing ninja I feel is to boost their strengths, not even out their weaknesses. Hence dont worry too much about def gear, spend that money on +evasion/agil and +accuracy/dex gear instead. Also at that level you can't really blink tank to full effect, but you can make an awesome second tank once you get in the 30's to be a thiefs sneak+trick attack buddy. That'll proabably be your main role until you hit 37 and get Utsusemi: Ni. As for 25-30 tho, well yeah you are kinda a leech, not adding too much to the pt, unless you pseudo blink tank i.e. use Utsusemi: Ichi to tank the first 6 hits of the fight and then pass it off to a secondary tank then recast and provoke back. This does work surprisingly well believe it or not and can make a great addition to the party. Also blink tanking is not as expensive as you think. If i blink tank and only blink i.e. no elemetal ninjutsu it costs me maybe a stack of shihei to gain a level. And keep in mind im in the 40's. So basically its about .75 gil per 1 xp or there abouts. Keep in mind tho to make the most of blink tanking get a proper party. Make sure the levels are close. If you are getting anything less that 150 a kill, leave the pt or resctructure, its just not worth the money, and even 150 is low. Typically a balanced pt with a blink tank should be chaining in the 188~250 a kill region, thats efficiency. I'm only speaking at my level also, so maybe a more senior ninja can reply and let us know what its like at even higher levels
