YO im doing a nin/thf, i know all bla bla nin/war is muich better

but i if u wanna solo much and if u PT up u dont wanna be a tank!
u just wanna support with ur dmg and maybe steal sum stuff to urself just support cuz thf/nin shouldnt do so much less dmg then a nin/war right??

then shouldnt nin/thf be better then nin/war?
im asking this cuz im just lvl 12 so far, and it would be great to know if im thinkin right

and thf/nin do more dmg but then u cant use the cool nin clothing and the ninjitsus wich seem great fun!

so please corret me if im wrong on all this, Thanks!


and another "off-topic" question. if i get the thf to lvl 30 then start to lvl the nin, then does the thf get cut to lvl 15 so i cant use the skills abow 15?

If you want a playstyle that just sits on his arse and isn't very powerful then yeah go for it (Nin/thief). If I were leading a group I wouldn't even take a Nin/thief anyways...they can't contribute at all.

Sneak + Surprise attacks are dumbed down.
No taunt so your blink is useless in a group.
Stealing has done nothing as a sub for my warrior so far.
Gil finder doesn't do that much unless the mob drops loads in the first place.

Soloing: More evasion, less hp, less damage, more money needed for blink as you can't take that many hits and low life expectancy. Though you do get flee but from what I've read Ninja AF armour makes you run faster at night ;P

You have to know who to steal from. Gobs, Orcs, Anticans, and Quadavs are the best to steal from. If you get a hook like item toss it . Get the beastcoin (silver) then keep those.

John that's what I've been doing :/

All I get is beastcoins and I've only ever gotten 1 silver beastcoin. Hopefully it'll get better as I face tougher stuff

silver only gets 400 for 1, and steal rate (unless you're a taru) is bad. I wish I could steal more, get a stack and I would be "made"

No, ninja should not solo... it's stupid.

The hook-like item is a useless sell. Which is why John said to toss it. He's talking about the real deal: silver/gold/mithril beastcoins, not some cheap rip off of an orc necklace.
