As it stands PvP hasn't yet been implemented and we don't know if there'll be any damage modifiers placed on PvP combat.
However, with the theoretical and practical knowledge that some of you experienced ninjas have built up (Vivid) could you show us who you think would come out on top in the scenario...
Ninja/thief versus Ninja/warrior
As it stands...
Ninja/Warrior
After level 40 it comes into it's own regarding PvM (player vs monster). Ninja/warrior is the best tank around when played right with the correct equipment and jutsu(s). Everyone wants this guy in a group because of his exceptional tanking abilities and the taunt skill he receives from subbing in warrior.
Though this combo is a good tank, does it actually out damage the ninja/thief?
One would assume in Ninja vs Ninja PvP, the one with the most evasive abilities and damage output would win. Is this wrong?
Ninja/Thief
Theory dictates that with their stealing abilities the ninja/thief would have better funding for items such as blink powder which is essential for avoiding those melee attacks from an opponent whether it be mob or player. The Ninja/thief benefits from having the backstab ability though it's damage output has somewhat degraded having made the move from thief main to thief sub. Not many people want the ninja/thief in their group (to act as a tank anyway), perhaps using them to pull mobs?
Though with this combo of class there's a significant drop in HP and tanking ability, thanks to the speed the thief provides does the Ninja/thief have a chance at out-damaging a Ninja/warrior?
How often does a Ninja/thief with a full stack of blink powder get hit anyways?
Does he actually need massive HP (all people seem to want is taunt)?
Well, I'm a dedicated n00b so if someone could slaughter me by proving me wrong I'd like to thank ye in advance. I'd like to get some feedback from Vivid regarding this topic as he's been through the best and worst of it all having played a Ninja/thief and evaluated the Ninja/Warior
