  • Dual Wield Ability

When using the dual wield ability, what is your attacking pattern? I'd assume that you attack with both hands at the same time (basically), am I correct?

Also what determines the attack interval? Is it just the added speed of both your weapons, or is it only a certain precent of the added speed?

Is the damage done by each weapon identical to when you are single wielding it?

Will both weapons hit when using backstab, sneak attack and/or a WS?

Ok, thats all I have to ask for the moment. Thanks to anyone who can help.

I don't have the game, or the ninja job. But here's what advice I can give.

The damage and delay are added together. I believe you attack with one and then the other, but am not positive.

Also what determines the attack interval? Is it just the added speed of both your weapons, or is it only a certain precent of the added speed?
The damage and speed of both weapons is added together. Example: a 7dmg/144dly sword and a 3dmg/200 delay sword you'd get 10/344.

Is the damage done by each weapon identical to when you are single wielding it?
    I don't know. Sorry.

Will both weapons hit when using backstab, sneak attack and/or a WS?
No, only the first attack counts. So even if you have 2 swords, the first attack that hits counts.

Well then I am wondering what is the bonus of dual wielding?

If what you say is true, there seems to be no real reason to use it.

Lets say I am using a the same weapon in each hand, a 10d/150s dagger. So in dual wielding I'd be effectivly using a 20d/300s dagger, which is the same thing as a 10d/150s single wielded dagger. :dead:

woah back that up duel wield daggers? why not duel wield Katanas? dont Katanas 1h have more power if you held both in 1 hand instead of 2 daggers...since Ninjas can use 1h katanas.

TasuketeAsuka, i've been wondering the exact same thing... If everything that i've heard about dual wielding is true, then the job quality would be basically useless as far as i can see. With the exception of looking very cool

Well I'm really just asking this question for a ninja sub. I plan on being a theif, and I am perplexed by why so many swear by the ninja sub when it offers little abilities, and its main one (dual wield) seems to give no logical advantage. Well no advantage other than what Tetsura said.

              o.O...

you guys are right about everything when it comes to duel wielding... yes, it's basically in there just for the looks... and to use something in two hands without being restricted to claws or grapples...
