Not sure if that's a typo or not, but you've listed 7 jobs, and created another job. lol (What's a RNK? Or a MNG? Probably just combined RNG and MNK. lol)
I've done a number of these, but they've all been as DRK. The usual party make-up was:
PLD, DRK, THF, RDM, BRD, WHM
THF runs out and agro pulls. Using Flee they can get around the inner circle, and run past the BRD before taking any damage. BRD then sleeps the group.
During the THF's pull, the PLD runs out and Provokes the Black Mandy. PLD and DRK start hacking away at the it while WHM stands near and Cure Monkeys. Once the BRD has all the White Mandys slept, the THF goes and joins the fighting. RDM stays with the BRD and Cure Monkeys for the BRD.
The WHM and the RDM could switch positions, depending on how the BRDs doing things. BRD would eat DEF food, and keep DEF songs up. Though they could land a Ballad on their personal Cure Monkey BEFORE the fighting starts.
DRK Stuns all the Ancient Magic casts. Some people have told me this isn't possible. I've only ever failed to stop one of them with Stun. I ran into some lag just as I was pulling my Scythe, and the THF got it.
But we Raised him and went right on, didn't really effect us as a group. Of course the THF did lose some EXP. I've never tried using Weapon Bash to stop the cast, but it takes about 15 seconds for it to cast, so you have plenty of time to either Stun it, Weapon Bash it, or run out of range before you get it.
With this set up, we even had a WHM disco in the middle of the fight, we still finished in under 17 minutes.
The other set up, we just went with NIN tank, instead of PLD. Fight goes pretty much the same way.
A group full of RNGs should cut down all the Mandys pretty fast. But not sure how a MNKs going to hold hate. I'm assuming you're thinking the MNK will tank. The Mandys didn't hit for much honestly. I took a lot of hate, (Elvaan DRK STR, and then food and gear gave me about STR+15.) and in a number of instances, by the time the tank got control of hate, the mandy was dead.
It really comes down to a good BRD, outside of that you can do this in under 30 minutes.Odude

never tried with a monk tank... Ideally ninja is great. PLD works too. There are painters who transform the sun into a yellow spot,

transform a yellow spot into the sun.

Best strategy - go with 5 BSTs...
When I have gone with a normal group, usually the Bard goes in first and sleeps all the mandys, then the tank will pull the NM and the group will proceed to kill it. Have some stuns ready to stop the ancient magic. Also, make sure someone is remembering to heal the Bard, people often forget about him. Once you kill the NM, just start picking off the other mandys one by one. If you have a good Bard, it's a piece of cake.Mikeb Hume - 48 BST / 23 WHM / 29 WAR / 37 MNK

if you go with bst, you better off go for the rabbit BC. mandragora doesn't have any strong special attacks. Using them as pet means you will kill pretty slow. There are painters who transform the sun into a yellow spot,

On mandys as all-BST we average 10-14 minutes. Not super quick, but definitely not slow. When I go I don't use a full set of armour either (many people don't bother), so the mandys are nice and safe.Originally posted by Jei

Monk tank works fine. I've done the BCNM with normal parties, as long as a mage isn't tanking you'll do fine (just make sure to cancel berserk). The key is really the Bard keeping the mandys slept. Good bard = win with almost any other combo of jobs.Mikeb Hume - 48 BST / 23 WHM / 29 WAR / 37 MNK
