I havnt played FFXI for probably 8-9 months now, mostly quit due to the level 50-60 monk LFP for hours because i cant do distortion chain and fighting stupid crabs =)

With the offer FF has going right now i can get my monk back, but im worried that people still have no monk love.

So i guess my question is, if the hump is still there, will i still go crazy waiting for parties if i come back?


Also any cool new must have gear for monks that are around 55-56? and anybody know the going rate or so to re-equip a monk with the usual gear?(snipers, ochuido, gi etc)

in general post 50 (mainly post 55) ur most likely gonna end up making 90% of ur PTs

They did change the EXP needed for those levels too if you are not aware. They smoothed out the EXP needed all they way to 75 so it's an easier road to take now, as well as reducing EXP loss to 8% have a WHM cast Raise and you loose only like 5-6% of tnl amount.
