Well...the gear thing is again always so important(although I wish it wasn't >_<). I partied with a Galka whm from 46-50 down in GC, and...he was the best whm I've ever had, hands down. He had all the gear he needed, mainly RSE for his shitty mp, and he was able to heal and we had no problems with him whatsoever...now I'm sure he still gets discriminated against due to his race, but anyone that parties with him will know he rawksjoo. On a side note....taru plds are the best plds ever >_>

A friend of mine and me have this hypothesis that people that play jobs they weren't necessarily 'meant' to play, do a better job than any other person. The reason for this is, they have to play more conservatively, saving mp, getting the correct gear, etc, they have to do more research and need to know what they're doing, and a lot of them do...just a hypothesis but we both believe it's true :D

Please don't think that everyone that is an Elvaan or Galka Monk are "cookie-cutters". I play as an Elvaan Monk because I think Elvaan are cool.

Well, my as my self being broken and all I like galka mages and taru melee no clue why I just do there silly =P My taru mnk is only 24 but i have leveled war and nin to 37, drk to 13,and pld to 19 on my taru. For a tank or a damage dealer it really is your gear, your own ability, and your party to make sure you can play your job good no matter what job or race. As a galka mage it will be almost necesary to get your self two astrals as fast as you can, and all mp gear you can and learn when or when not a nuke or cure is necesary. Also for a taru melee you need to make sure you get your str gear and your other gear up to date. But really, I have had awful taru melee and awful galka mages but I have also had awful taru mages and awful galka melee. You need to be able to play your job, is about ability and will to level your job >>> the gear you are wearing.
