Things to do when your bored as a Monk....

1) level up staff/club
2) use a staff/club with 2hr and watch you swing them like a madman
3) sub nin and dual wield clubs with 2hr
4) sub redmage and use en-thunder with 2hr on a mob that uses blaze spikes

not really heh, its just using the 2hr makes it a bit more fun, its better than sitting at jueno for 4+ hours waiting for a pt

i never just sit in one place looking for party. When i want to exp, i put up flag, and then go synth, farm, do quests, any other stuff i needed to do and can do as monk. just include in your search comments that you can warp to your HP, which ideally would be in Jeuno. (and if you can't easily warp back to jeuno, then don't wander too far away from there )

Ohh, back on topic. . . when i'm bored, i usually take a break from the game. That doesn't happen very often

i like to explore new areas that would kill me if i didn't have sneak/invisible. a few nights ago i visited Hall of the Gods for the first time, it was so beautiful. Otherwise I farm or fish or just hang out with friends chatting.

Hmm.. Anyone try fishing in Port Jeuno? Its the central hub for airship travel and only a zone away from the people rendering teleport services. I admit its really boring but hey at least I'm leveling something. Yellow Globes are helping me level my alchemy and later on I guess I could use the Cobalt Jellyfishes as well. I still have to trade in the rusty leggings I got to NPC in Norg. ^^

I grab all my Tarutaru friends and explore/hunt uncamped NMs. During that time I feel a lot like Kindergarten Cop and I say things like "IT'S NOTTA TUMAH! NOTTA TUMAH AT ALL!"

I like to go somewhere where the monsters r EP still, and take aggro off of unsuspecting noobs. You still get a lil XP, a lil Gil, a few noobs gaping in awe, and alot of gratitude<----especially when you pull off a WS or your 2HR in front of them, you can take multiple MOB's w/your 2HR and own! Combination surprise and gratitude when you help someone out is worth it all. :D
