Help with asuran fists

First let me start out by saying sorry for bringing up a old topic and sorry for my bad english.


I need help on the quest for Asuran fists. So far I've gotten the weapon with lantent efffect and my problem is that I've kept tracked of all the points and so far I've made atleast 504 points altogether but the lantent effect is still their.


I wen't back to oggbi and he asked if I wanna quit trainning, should I use yes? I've been doing level 3 sc's and lvl 2's on easy prey to IT's. Any help would be greatly appreciated and again sorry for my bad English.

the latent doesnt just go off on the description

first of all, check yer hp and the elements

you should have 20 hp less and no element bonus if the latent is gone.

i forgot the obggi part, but i remember just trading the knuckles to him will do

The latent effect words wont dissappear, but the bonuses it gives will no longer be there.

Stupid but true. Happens to a lot of people.

The Lantent effect is still their HP+20 10 and 10 on element stuff =\

bet you cant top what i did tho. after counting all the chains and whatnot i was positive the latent should be gone. i didnt check since i did so many more than was said to be required and no one really explained how to do that to me. i got a bunch of friends together, invited another monk who needed it, and we gathered in jeuno. i hit bastok real quick to get the key item. i couldnt get the key item in bastok, i was amazed.... i did so many chains...

anyway, we felt bad for the other monk that we invited so we went and did the WSNM for him. my friend then explained how to check the latent so when i got back to jeuno i hit sauru. and checked it.... latent was gone.

lesson: Dont just talk to the NPC guy, TRADE THE WEAPON to him to see if youre done!

I felt like such an idiot. Kinda funny now looking back on it. Oh well =p
