Rasetsu Samue

The rasetsu pants and boots look great to me, but I'm not too sure about the body piece. The AF armor gives Accuracy+5, while the rasetsu samue allows you to take a hit better and matches nicely with the pants and boots. Currently I use a macro to switch my belt and rings whenever I get attacked; I suppose you could do the same thing with the rasetsu samue, but it would be so annoying to be disappearing all the time as you change your shirt. So what do others think, is the rasetsu samue worth using over the AF armor? (I don't see a Scorpion Harness or anything from Kirin in my near future).

me thinks it's worth using when you are walkin on the streets of jeuno, or farming like a mad man, or running around in noob areas and getting all those examines emote on you so that you feel superior. (at least that's what i did)

anywayz, you need all the acc you can get in xp parties, i dont bother changing equipments while getting hit it's just too troublesome, when you are in berserk and using 2 sniper rings those extra def doesn't help much, you have high hp and chakra to be able to withstand the dmg anyway (woo 800 hell slash!, and i still have 800 hp!)

unless the tank is down and you are tanking i dont see any reason using it in xp parties.

If acc isn't an issue, use it...
if acc is an issue, don't use it...
simple enough...

Don't be afraid to change equipment often and use equip macros as a MNK.

After level 60, you should have a wide variety of weapons / armor / accessories available to you that each have their uses. I have my Chakra macro set up to equip my Cyclas then re-equip whatever other armor I was wearing at the time. A quick macro to switch between Life Belt and Brown Belt.

Hell, I carry 3 different weapons - Shiva Claws, Feral Fangs, and Stun Jahmadars. Each has their uses against different enemies.

exactly as syara said, change if you need to, if there is no brd in the pt and i'm having problems hitting i switch to af and shiva claws.

if there's a brd or i'm just not having problems hitting i use feral fangs and rasetsu

Ok, thanks for the tips. There's no bard in my party so I'll just use it for fighting weak enemies.
